About Me

I am a psychiatrist and candidate at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I provide medication management and several modalities of psychotherapy to treat a variety of conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and PTSD. My interests lie in treating the symptoms that make up diagnoses and working to alleviate other sources of distress in order to find a deeper sense of wellbeing. I also currently look for patients who are interested in participating in an intensive process of self-discovery and personal growth via psychoanalysis.

I am fluent in English and proficient in Spanish; therefore, while I can offer medication management in both English and Spanish, I provide psychotherapy services in English only.

My Treatment Approach

My approach to treatment is inspired by a wide range of approaches to the patient including psychodynamic theories that center around whole-person wellbeing. My approach centers around understanding and changing lifestyle choices and patterns that lead to distress and dissatisfaction with the goal of increasing your sense of an integrated personal identity with a coherent set of values, goals, and life practices. I use medication as a tool to help achieve these larger, person-centered goals.
